Variable growth corals

Experimentation with a custom mesh-based variable growth algorithm to create bespoke lighting objects, vases and standalone sculptural pieces. Each form emerges through a process of computational growth, exploring the relationship between digital generation, organic morphology and material fabrication. The resulting objects blur the boundaries between function and sculpture, inviting new interpretations of nature, technology and design.
