Voxel lights

Voxel lights is a modular illuminated sculpture built from Truchet tiles connected through a mesh topology. Its continuous and expandable nature allows for adaptable spatial systems.

Each light module is formed using custom 3D-printed molds and vacuum-formed plastic panels, assembled around a wooden skeleton that provides structural support while remaining adaptable. The mesh-based network allows every module to communicate and expand, creating a lighting system that can grow organically into new configurations without a fixed endpoint.

Combining digital fabrication with modular design, the project explores how simple repeating units can generate complex patterns, scalable architecture, and dynamic spatial experiences.
