Panathinaiko Stadio Model

Architectural model of entrance to a hidden vaulted tunnel of the Panathenaic Stadium or Kallimarmaro that was fabricated for the exhibition Architecture in Greece – The Mystical Language of Form.

The 3D model was digitally designed based on the research and hand drawn sketches of Dr. M. Korres.

The architectural model blends cutting-edge fabrication with artisanal craftsmanship. The core structure is from 3D printed PLA, providing accurate geometries and sharp structural lines. Once the digital print was complete, the monochromatic surface was transformed by hand. An artist applied layered, custom-drawn patinas to recreate the real-life textures and materials.
